In view of that, I did this post to address it.

This article gives you the complete process of sending money from bank account to MTN mobile money and from Mobile Money to bank.

Without wasting much time, let’s delve into the steps.

Sending money from MTN Mobile Money To Bank Account.

I going to show you how to send money from MTN MoMo to the bank account of any of the following banks:

Zenith Bank, ADB Bank GN Bank, Fidelity Bank, Access Bank, Cal Bank, Ecobank and UBA

To transfer money from MTN MoMo to any of the above banks, follow the steps below

  1. Dial the MTN Mobile Money Code (*170#)
  2. Choose option 5 (Financial Services)
  3. Choose option 1 (bank services)
  4. Choose option 1 (Transfer to bank)
  5. Choose your bank from the list of banks displayed
  6. Enter 1 to choose account
  7. Enter amount to send
  8. Enter mobile money PIN code
  9. Confirm and send.

You have successfully transferred money from your Mobile money to your bank account in Ghana.

 

Withdraw from Bank account to Mobile Money.

Follow the steps above until step 4.

  1. Choose “2” transfer from Bank
  2. Choose your bank
  3. Enter “1” to choose account
  4. Enter amount to withdraw
  5. Enter MoMo Pin code
  6. Press “1” to confirm and send.

Useful Information.

Note that before you can transact between your bank account and mobile money, you should have already connected / synced your bank account to your Mobile Money Account by registering for mobile banking services.

To connect your bank account to mobile money, contact your bank’s customer care or visit the bank and opt for such service.

Mobile banking services brings convenience to you. It saves time and energy as you can withdraw and send money at any time via mobile money services.
