The question is, how do you scan your TV for these channels?

Well, you are not alone. Too many at times people encounter problems when they scan their satellite TV.

We assume that you have already installed the Nasco TV and done the initial settings and configuration.

When is the best time to scan your Nasco TV for channels?

When you buy a new television, you have to scan for the channels.

Scanning for channels should be done periodically.

New free to air channels are added on a periodic basis.

If you want to get them, you will have to rescan your Tv.

If some channels have stopped working, rescanning is required.

Some Television channels change their frequencies and this makes your TV lose those channels. To get them back working, you need to rescan.


How to scan your TV for digital channels in Ghana.

Make sure the Nasco TV is a satellite type. To ensure that the are no problems during the scanning, make sure your TV is connected to an antenna and placed in a good position.

Follow the steps below to scan your Nasco digital satellite TV in Ghana:

  1. Pick the remote control and press the “Menu” button
  2. Scroll down to “Settings” and click on it
  3. Scroll through the options till you get to “Channel Scan” OR “Rescan” OR “Tun” OR “Auto-tune”
  4. Select the “Auto Tuning” option.
  5. Select your country (Ghana) and choose “DVB-T” or “DVB-T2”
  6. Select “Start scan” to begin the scanning process
  7. Wait patiently for the scan to finish.

Important things to note.

Scanning takes about 10 – 15 minutes to complete.

When scanning completes, your TV will display the number of channels found. If you want more channels, you can do another scan.
