Successful Network Engineers works with company’s network, using information technology to make network systems.

They learn the in depths of Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), intranets and extranets.

This NIIT Course awards a diploma in Network Engineering. Through this program, students will gain the necessary skills and knowledge in network design, internet fundamentals, networking and security technologies.

CISCO CERTIFIED NETWORK ASSOCIATE (CCNA)

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching is a certification program which validates the ability to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot medium sized router and switched network including implementation and verification of connection to remote sites.

This program covers 12 technology modules each of which has 2 practical skill workshops which must be attended in-centre.

The rest of the program can be learnt in the comfort of your home at your own pace and on your own tablet, smartphone or desktop machine.

This program establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs.

Application requirements

Admission process differs from one program to another. Most of thier qualifications are designed for learners who are typically aged 15 and above. For learners who have recently been in education or training the entry profile is likely to include one of following:

WASSCE: Passes in any three Core Subjects and three elective subjects including (Mathematics, English Language) or its equivalent (SSSCE, O-Level, A-Level, etc.) other related level 3 subjects such as ATHE level 3 Diplomas

An access to Higher Education Certificate delivered by an approved higher education institute and validated by an Access Validating Agency

Other equivalent international qualifications
