In this write-up,  we’ll look at the costs of the Google Pixel 2 in Ghana. The Google Pixel 2 is an Android smartphone that was conceived, produced, and released as part of Google’s Pixel product range. They are the successors to the Pixel and Pixel XL, respectively. It sports a 12.2 megapixel rear camera that can capture 4K video at 30 frames per second, 1080p video at 120 frames per second, and 720p video at 240 frames per second. Phase-detection autofocus, laser autofocus, and HDR+ processing are also included in the camera. The Pixel 2 also has a Pixel Visual Core (PVC) picture processor, which allows for quicker and lower-power image processing, albeit it wasn’t enabled until Android 7.0.

The phones come pre-installed with Android 8.0 “Oreo.” Google has pledged three years of software and security updates, bringing it closer to Apple’s four-year average for iPhone maintenance. The Sony Xperia XZ1 was the first phone to get Android 8.0 out of the box (“Oreo”).

“Active Edge” is another aspect of the new Pixels. Squeezing the phone’s sides will launch the Google Assistant, akin to the HTC U11’s “Edge Sense” function.

This phone also came with the new Google Lens software, which uses visual analysis via the camera to bring up pertinent information. The “Now Playing” feature allows the gadget to detect music via its microphone and identify the song on the go.
