The phone boasts a 12.2-megapixel rear camera that can capture 4K video at 30 frames per second, 1080p video at 120 frames per second, and 720p video at 240 frames per second. Phase-detection autofocus, laser autofocus, and HDR+ processing are also included in the camera. The Pixel 2 XL also has the Pixel Visual Core (PVC) picture processor, which allows for quicker and lower-power image processing, but it wasn’t enabled until Android 8.1 was launched in January 2018.
